Dear Jeff:

Many of the schools in Manitoba have gone back to basic mathematics principles since last September. Things like fractions, adding, multiplying, dividing, subtracting. Mathematical skills that they need, not "namby pamby fuzzy math." Including giving students easier problems if they cannot solve the 1st one's put in front of them. This new age crap is hurting classroom mathematical averages & graduation rates, especially in Alberta (& across the Dominion) high schools. Lets get students back on the old math & make teachers take refresher courses in the old math as well so that both the instructor & the instructees (students) are on the same page numerically.
