Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow.

Dear Gordon:

You really have to admire President Bill Taft. The President served as "Chief Executive" for one term & later on become the "Chief Justice" of the United States Supreme Court. Excellent political genes & smarts, the only President to have headed both the executive & judiciary. Two separate branches of government, totally amazing. This is why its almost a shame that his relative, Dr. Kevin Taft, former Alberta Liberal Leader & MLA for Edmonton-Riverview never became Premier. I think Kev would have brought his ancestors smart thought process to the political field & Room #CCCVII (#307) of the Alberta Legislature.

Here President Taft talks to students at an education conference in New York City about having proper writing skills in order to get their ideas for making America better across in a clear & concise manner so as to bring the process forward.

"Don't write so that you can be understood, write so that you can't be misunderstood."
