Gubernatorial-Montana

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

June Xth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

As we head off into Alberta's great neighboring border state of Montana, we get a few comments from Governor Steve Bullock on his initiative in preventing youth suicides, which seem to be on the rise everywhere sadly (just like Ist responder suicides.) So he signs legislation to give power to adult figures like teachers to help combat these tragedies-in-waiting!

"Montana must do more to combat youth suicides in the state. This law will ensure that teachers & faculty members will know the signs demonstrated by students contemplating suicide, & ensure they know how best to address them."

Helena,

Rory
