"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mr. Graves

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March Vth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I ask Congressman Sam Graves of Missouri to explain to me his view on languages. Its not that he is opposed to multiple languages from different people of different cultures, but he feels one official language (in this case English) to make access to government services easier makes sense. Just like Anglais et French in a bilingual format makes sense here in Canada.

"America is a collection of people from different races, religions, & backgrounds - that is part of what makes us great. My bill will strengthen the case to make English our official language & will save the federal government millions of dollars every year."

Tarkio,

Rory

Not so. He actually wants to make access to government services more difficult for people who don't understand English well.
