"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mr. Reed

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

July XXXIst, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

On the trail of student involvement in Committee in fighting diabetes is Congressman Tom Reed of New York. Diabetes which affects young & old, my awesome late mother Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed. having died of a stroke, her diabetes was also a contributing factor to her death so I appreciate Tom'a work here. Tom is Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus on this matter & is a great choice as he is avid swimmer.

"Diabetes is personal to me, & I understand how this disease affects so many individuals & families across our country."

"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mrs. Wasserman Schultz

July XXXth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

In West Philadelphia, though not born & raised, Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is spending most of her days. Chillin' out maxin, relaxin, shooting some b. ball with a couple of spys from the DNC & forced out in disgrace as Democratic Chair, when my pal Julian Assange & Wikileaks decided to give her a scare. Deb at the party convention was up to no good, she started makin trouble in Bernie Sanders neighborhood. She got in one little email scandal a mere XVMMMM (19,000) times & "The Trumpster" astutely asked the Russkies to help hold her accountable for her computer crimes! With not much to do during the week, Deb goes & asks some Philly economics students a superb economic question over Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches & Rocky Balboa themed Gatorade!

"I wonder how much money I would require to buy out all of the stock in Wikileaks?"

July XXVIIIth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Students, parents, families everywhere be aware, in its infinite (lack of) wisdom, the low intelligence, overpaid, & soft on crime members of the National Parole Board Of Canada are putting XXIX (29) time admitted serial rapist Larry Takahashi on the street. This despite the fact he admitted openly at his parole hearing that he still had rape fantasies. Why is this happening, students of law & Canada's shit criminal justice system where one judge puts a man in jail for killing a little boy with his vehicle for four months & then is allowed to sue Legal Aid for $600,000.00 in blood money when he should be in jail for XXV (25) years is ludicrous. Another judge gave a man six months in jail for killing an animal. So two months more in jail for an animal than a human, the courts & soft on crime judges are beginning to be a joke! I'd suggest putting Larry Takahashi in Robert Pickton's notorious wood chipper but that would be a sad waste of a wood chipper, a tangible object that unlike Larry has some value to society!

Bring Back Capital Punishment For Rapists & Murderers,

Rory

Source: The Victoria Times-Colonist & Myself.

An Editor's Note: In no way do I endorse Larry getting put down for past crimes as there is no capital punishment currently on Canadian law books. Just if he is is released & commits future crimes & capital punishment is put back on those law books.

July XXVIth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

From the home state of New York of both the Republican Nominee Donald Trump & the presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, we have Congressman Richard L. Hanna. A few weeks ago, Executive Dissertations featured a picture of a Democratic Congressman & his stunning bride. In the tradition of "exactly = time for all sides", we put up a picture of Richard & his exquisitely beautiful bride Kim. Thereby preserving the premise that in this campaign year, there is absolutely no tactical advantage for either Republicans or Democrats featured here in this blog. Just a statement of the factoids & quotes on educational matters/issues of the day. Here Richard talks to future student voters & how important voting is & that they and their votes should be respected.

"You need to remind people that you vote, you matter, & that they can't succeed without your help."

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

The one nice thing I can can say about Congresswoman Lois Frankel of Florida is that she has XVMMMM (19,000) less emails written about her than her Democratic colleague in the Florida XXIIIrd, Mrs. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. With another nightclub shooting, this time of Floridian students who thought they were in a safe atmosphere, we ask Lois to give her opinion on gun violence/control.

July XXIVth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Back over to California & Congressman Devin Nunes. His initiative today is on encouraging Californian students to innovate & get into "start-up" companies. Thus educating themselves in the world of business whilst simultaneously showcasing their inventions & ideas.

"America is renowned as a start up nation. The American people have always encouraged & admired daring entrepreneurs who - through ingenuity, courage, & determination - create something out of nothing. These are the brave men & women who begin with an idea for an innovation & then start a new business that transforms their vision into reality."

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I have to say piss on the Australian school system & piss on the Elanora Heights Public School in Sydney. In a case of political correctness gone mad, the children in this school are encouraged not to clap out loud & express themselves when they are happy. Instead, they are to be silent drones & cheer/clap without making noise. My late mother, the spectacular Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed. loved having "When Your Happy & You Know It Clap Your Hands" sung by her students for sing-a-longs when she was teaching as it made the kids feel great to sing a happy song!

July XXIInd, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education,
New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I would like to see better safety measures in employment centres. I took a senior citizen to a provincial office earlier today to get her help on a provincial disability matter & people were harassing & even shoving her at the front door demanding money. So I had to get out of my car & suggest they stop as they were doing this to families with students on vacation entering and exiting the premises to. Then I called upon the security guards inside to deal with the matter & call in proper law enforcement officials & left.

Stressful Times,

Dear Dave:

Perhaps its rather fitting that I just happen to have Congresswoman Elise Stefanik of New York up in the rotation as it was her state & Donald Trump Junior that officially put "The Trumpster" in as the Republican Party Candidate yesterday at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio during the assigned roll call from the floor. Here Elsie discusses summer reading & learning even when not in a classroom setting & how it is healthy brain stimulation tool for students.

Dear Dave:

I am reminded of that old "Field Of Dreams" adage "the one thing throughout the years that is constant has been baseball!" Of course there are two constants in life & the second is that is that the ever adroit Edmonton Sun Columnist Cam Tait is correct on the "check swing" that there is no place better to spend a summer night for families with children on summer vacation from school than "The Ball Park" at an Edmonton Prospects game.

With the "crack of the bat" & family friendly atmosphere, Mighty Casey At The Bat might just be afraid to Strike Out! From Owner/President Pat Cassidy to Ticket Sales Chief Ryan Jagoe right on down to the team & the bar, lounge & field staffs: the Prospects organization is class all the way!

I've asked Congressman Randy Neugebauer of Texas to give readers of Executive Dissertations a remark on his definition of marriage. While Randy is against gay marriage like the Anglican Church, there are people such as myself & many others who are for it. I do however respect Randy's right to define his position on it & speak that position in Congress. However, he really has to understand that gay people who are married are very loving & fantastic couples. I have a cousin who is married to a wonderful woman, & they are a wonderful pair of moms to their son! I just don't see what the big deal about it is.

July VIIIth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I don't know what in the hell is wrong with the city of Dallas, Texas & its obsession with shootings. Whether real such as last night's shooting of Dallas Police Department officers or that of the late XXXVth U.S. President John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy, Democratic-Massachusetts. Or even imagined ones such as from the tv show "DALLAS" of both Brother J. R. & Brother Bobby Ewing (I realize these two were fictional, but they showcased the idiocy of gun violence.) Hell, even in Edmonton here this morning where an armoured vehicle guard had to shoot & kill a suspect who was trying to rob their vehicle & put his & his partner's life in danger outside a bank.

Sure there are cases where police in the United States go nuts & get off with murders, such as the one where a one-hundred year old senior was shot dead by a cop & he got off at trial, that old man wasn't a threat. I don't make judgments on gun-control either way & I work security guard jobs but I will never get any form of gun license nor will I ever do any form of armed guarding shift. The best way is for certified law enforcement & military professionals & responsible citizens to have the guns. Plus, police are out of control in terms of killing black people to a degree, there is some racial prejudice, that isn't in dispute, sometimes they kill several citizens a day, many who have surrendered. But to be fair, you have to be in their situation, the officer has to make a judgment call & deem what the threat level is. So it seems appropriate that we ask Texas Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee for her opinion on gun control since it was her state that was bloodied last night so badly! To a point the Black Lives Matter group goes overboard to because frankly, they aren't the only oppressed race on the planet Earth.

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

We clear out the Pennsylvania column at Executive Dissertations with Congressman Timothy F. Murphy. Timmy in Committee questions the need for making coal mining families poor by shutting down their industry. This will destroy small town & family life, something that you & the NDP are doing here in Alberta with the forced coal mine closures here. Thousands of good union jobs & working folk on the unemployment lines, something I might point out again that Premier Rachel Notley's late father Grant would have never done.

"All we're asking, at least for Americans out there, who are told that their going to lose their jobs as power plants shut down, as coal mines are shut down, as towns move back into incredible, unspeakable poverty - I ask you to look into the eyes of people who are in poverty of all ages, the young, the old, the in-between & make the EPA look into their eyes as well...Somebody ought to speak up for Americans who are losing their jobs."
