I just helped one of the neighbors in this area fill in a Special Ballot Application online as they'll be in Pennsylvania dealing with a relative's funeral & estate through the Advance Poll & Election Day. I myself am going to vote in the Advance Poll on Saturday, April XIXth, MMXXV so as to avoid ED lineups. People must choose the option that is right for them. Dear Demetrios:

Here in Clareview, library residents talking about being harassed not just outside the library here by teens &/or adults, but in other public places as well, as well as by their homes. It can be individuals, or groups such as in gangs. Sometimes they are robbed, even beaten, or killed. It happens anywhere & be quite pervasive. A lot of course can be explained down to illicit drugs such as cocaine & fentanyl being so readily available to feed their addictions. It really is an interesting perspective as a couple is Conservative supporting in the straw poll I asked them. The other two folks, both women back other candidates, one New Democratic, one Liberal.

I am surprised that folks are saying that Conservative Party Leader Hon. Pierre Poilievre, PC isn't able to adapt & to change his message & focus. I've seen some of his rallies & those of Liberal Party Leader Rt. Hon. Mark Carney, PC on television, the Poilievre rallies are far stronger in focus. Plus we have the situation here where Pierre & his team are adapting well to the unexpected change in rally location tonight from SE Edmonton to the Nisku Business Park. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Here in the Town of Devon, Alberta, the local "Timmy's talk" is how much the carbon tax being gone for consumers is appreciated. However, the surrounding area farmers & gardeners still have to pay the Industrial Carbon Tax, at least for now. I can see why this would be such a big worry in terms of cost what with the huge Devonian Botanical Gardens nearby & The XXXIst (31st) County Of Parkland rural land all around this place. Folks are pretty Conservative backing here but are wary that politicians or private industries will jack up prices on taxes reduced/removed. Thus, preventing them from realizing any form of savings.

I truly appreciate that New Democratic Candidate for Edmonton-Centre Trisha Estabrooks & her team were doorknocking at my apartment door yesterday & left me a campaign brochure. I've run in the past & there is no substitute for "in-person" contact. Not even say by "Zoom" meetings. "Face-to-face" is truly the best way. If I had been home, I would've gladly talked to Candidate Estabrooks at my door, or any one of her opponents. Unfortunately, I was picking up my cat, Mr. Grey Meow Koopmans who was being neutered yesterday & having a couple of other health issues dealt with. I wish Candidate Estabrooks, her Liberal Candidate Opponent Eleanor Olszewski, & her Conservative Candidate Opponent Sayid Ahmed & all candidates running in all ridings the very best of campaigns as they go "on the road again!"

Not loyal to Le Roi in any way, shape, or form, we have Bloc Quebecois Chef Yves-Francois Blanchet. Y. F. heads a uniquely registered party nationally that only runs candidates in Quebec. At points he has some good things to say in terms of policy. But when he stops pipelines & other Alberta industries from growing but sucks money from Canada with a federal paycheque, I cannot really respect him. Plus he like "47" in Le Bureau Ovale wants to break up my magnifique Dominion Du Canada, I certainly don't stand for that at all!

Let us not be kidding/fooling ourselves, today Federal New Democratic Party & their Leader Jagmeet Singh are struggling to stay relevant & at least win 12 seats or more so they can keep "official party" status in the next parliament. The trouble is they don't offer anything new & this is Singh's IIIrd go around as leader, their message can start sounding bland, especially as they propped up the Liberals for 4 years & won't rule out doing so again under their new leadership so there is a certain lack of trust. Here he talks about expensive food prices for grocery workers & all Canadians.

"It doesn't sit right with me that grocery workers can't shop in the grocery stores they work in."
