Progressive Conservative, Edmonton-Whitemud

Dear David:

Well what can be said about Normie Kwong? Chinese Canadian, great businessman, Grey Cup champion, philanthropist & Lieutenant Governor of this Province. From poverty right to the top of the heap. Gosh I wish him a glorious retirement with his gorgeous bride Mary & all students should be encouraged to learn about our illustrious XVIth Head of Regal Authority & thank him IV his service. I mean what a juggernaut. 79 years old and stepping in just when we had our hearts broken with Lois Hole's early & tragic death.

We need to encourage students in the school of Alberta's XXIst Century of the importance of the office that Normie is leaving & that Lt. Col. Don Ethell is taking over. We need to have a seperation between Head of Her Majesty's Government & the Representative of the Queen. Remember, the Lt. Governor forms the governments & dissolves them. It is the Lt. Governor who invites politicos to try & take over our 13 elected Premierships and the Governor General who aides any potential Prime Ministers.

Tell students we must keep up this Vice-Regal tradition. Without proper command & control systems in place, Premier Ed Stelmach & his potential succssors might become too dictatorial. Thus seizing too much power and destroying the monarchial checks and balances that are created by British Pariamentary laws and traditions. So thank you Normie & many years of a blessed retirement. Best of luck & I certainly pledge my loyalty II you Don as you become our XVIIth Lt. Governor. On behalf of Alberta students, thank you IV accepting and offering up your services!

God Save The Queen,

Rory
