Awesome news at my old Alma Mater, Grant MacEwan University (nee College.) On July Ist, MMXI, a Dr. David Atkinson takes over the Office of the Presidency. While I am sad II see my favorite School President, Dr. Paul J. Byrne retire, I wish him well in his endeavours after a long & glorious career in academia; a man I truly admire. Dr. Atkinson has been a President at other schools & has family here in Edmonton, so this will be a positive move IV him. Plus he will still teach a class every semester. How awesome is that?A President who is a leader & hands on educator IV the GMU students first!
