At the Edmonton Expo Centre today, the City of Edmonton & some co-sponsors are hosting the annual "Africa Connect" festival. For working family's & those of a lower income, this is a great family time IV students & their family &/or friends II take in the wonderment that is the continent of Africa. The event is free from 11am-4pm & then continues on with a fine dinner & entertainment package well inII the evening.

Mayor Stephen Mandel & City Council will be there. There will be food, costumes, dancing, cultural displays of art & other African treasures. This is most definitely a great way II celebrate art & what a great contribution African-Canadians make II the City of Edmonton, our beloved Province, & the Dominion of Canada as a whole!
