Dear David:

The vote IV PC Leader was quite fascinating, of course people have the right not to participate. Alas I am however sickened that 40,000+ less members voted IV our next Leader. When people do not take part, democracy fails. In the voting station that I co-ran in Edmonton-Meadowlark, it was a true democratic exercise as I had several XVI year old students voting for their first time, all the way to Former Premier Donald Ross Getty & his blushing bride Margaret. Don knows the importance of the "game concept." Even after XIX years out of the big chair, he knows that as a senior student of politics, he must participate fully until his dying breath. So, walker & all, Don & Margaret came in to keep democracy & the concept of good leadership in government secure.
