A Quiet Dignity

Hon. David G. Hancock, QC, MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive
Conservative, Edmonton-Whitemud

Dear David:

Take a look at the grace & class Olivia Chow-Layton, MP showed under pressure on the first day back IV the spring sitting of the House of Commons in Ottawa. All through the tributes, & through Question period & debates, she exuded elegance & hope. Her speech in regards to her late husband, the Hon. Jack Layton, PC, MP was not from a Commons colleague, but from the loving embrace of a spouse. Students taking etiquette courses & those who are interested in diplomacy & decorum as a career can take a lesson from Mrs. Chow-Layton. All she can do is remember him & carry on.

May Jack Rest In Peace,

Rory
