October XVIth, MMXI

Hon. Thomas Lukaszuk, MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Edmonton-Castledowns

Dear Thomas:

Our thoughts & prayers must go II the family & friends of Jolene Cote, a Grade IX teacher killed beIV her time. I am especially sad IV her two little children who will lose their mother at age XXXVI (36.) My age, how frightening. She apparently taught at Greystone School in the Parkland School Division. Her fellow teachers, students, friends, & family all loved her & she was not just a great teacher, but a great volunteer with school activity's & in the community. Lets hope the Royal Canadian Mounted Police can bring her killer under arrest swiftly.

In Memoriam,

Rory

  1. Jolene's family will struggle with her senseless brutal murder for the rest of our lives. We are serving a life sentence.....& for me it often feels like solitary confinement....while the killer walks free. She was a beautiful person in every way; I am so proud of her. The is not a day that goes by that she's not in my mind and in my heart. Justice will never be served on earth because there is no such thing as justice when a life is taken, but there is no place to hide from the Lord. Please pray for our family, especially Jolene's children. I am so thankful for the people that continue to show us support & especially for the people that continue to pray for us every day. Jolene's mother
