Dear Thomas:

and so we bid adieu II the Honourable Kenneth (Kenny Boy) R. Kowalski, Speaker of The Legislative Assembly of Alberta & Progressive Conservative, Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock. XXXII, near XXXIII consecutive years in office, making him the IVth longest Provincial servant of the Crown of all time. Plus, beIV that, he was a Deputy Minister as well as a teacher.

Students who are interested in a career in politics or government serrvice would do well to emulate the Speaker's record of achievement. If I was the MLA running II replace him, I'd try & get 1 more consecutive day in office than ken. A feat he would surely smile at if I actually accomplished it. Ken had many accomplishments such as the Oldman River Damn & his hard work on behalf of his riding consituents. Plud his work as Speaker promoting parliamentary decorum & the respect IV Roberts Rules of Order & Parliamentary Procedure.

He Will Truly Be Missed Than Ken As He Himself Is A Walking Talking Classroom,
