June VIth, MMXII

Hon. Jeff Johnson, MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Athabasca-Sturgeon-RedH2O

Dear Jeff:

As we honour the sacrifices of Canadians & Allied troops on this the LXVIIIth (68th) Anniversary of the D-Day invasion of France & simultaneously celebrate a very well done LX (60) years & IV (4) months (so far) of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The (IInd) Second in command of the British Empire, Canada, & her other realms & territories with her steady presence on the Throne, I say we must tell students II venture back in time to WWII. It was Her Majesty's father, His Majesty King George The (VIth) Sixth that gave her the confidence to reign supreme b/c he did it so brilliantly from MCMXXXVI (1936)-MCMLII (1952) when he overcame his oratory difficulties & helped rally the British people's against Adolf Hitler & his Nazi threat.

One of the people he gave confidence & strength to with his tough character was the current Monarch. Her Royal Highness at the time gave war time speeches to youth to give them hope & enlisted in His Majesty's Royal Army to serve with distinction & honour as a driver & a mechanic. All I can say Jeff is its a pity we cannot have Her Majesty around with us IV another LX years & that my mother June, Her Majesty's biggest fan couldn't have been around to see these celebrations!

God Save The Queen,

Rory
