Dear Jeff:

It seems rather fitting IV kids & their family's that we celebrate Edmonton's Heritage Days each year during the Civic Holiday Weekend. We teach folks who are of ethnic backgrounds II be proud of their heritage & be civil to one another as they learn Canada's laws, civil customs, & cultural mores. As well as learning II adapt II Canadian ways of thinking, these fine folks bring the richness of their nation states to The Dominion Of Canada.

I have a father who immigrated from The Netherlands & my late mother June whose family was in Canada IV many generations & came from Irish & English backgrounds. So by all means Jeff, take your kids, tell others to celebrate the rich heritage that is Edmonton's Heritage Days weekend & just how much civic pride we can really have by embracing it fully!
