Dear Jeff:

As library clients, always make sure that you treat the customer service desk agents with respect. They in turn will do the same to you. Its not just in library's, its anywhere. Customer service agents have II deal with the hussle & bussle of the activities where they work. They do it the best they can & they do it to ensure that different people entering or exiting a library, or any facility have a good time & get to where they need to go, get what they want, & then exit safely.
