Dear Jeff:

Some great news out of the University Of British Columbia (UBC) Vancouver campus. St. John's Hospice opened up in September & it truly from what I can see online & in print is a marvel. It allows patients facing "end-of-care"/palliative care to die with dignity, in a place where they are surrounded with respect. From doctors, staff, family, & especially students studying gerontology & palliative care, people facing the end of their lives show students that they can still be contributing members of society right up until their dying breath, even if its just in a limited capacity. Plus, its not just the old that get sick & die, dying with dignity should be a right of all human beings, no matter what their age &/or socioeconomic status in life!

Truly An Amazing Educational Live On The Scene Platform IV All,

Rory
