Dear Jeff:

 

An IX (9) year old boy has just shot his school principal with a gun he found at home in an unlocked drawer & brought to school. He hated the principal & had told people he was going to "do him harm", but no one took the threat seriously. Now, Sergeant Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department & his partner for the week, Sergeant Ed Jacobs are working the dayshift of Homicide Division detail. Sgt. Friday has the unenviable task of telling the boy's parents.

 

"Your son is under arrest for suspicion of murder!"
