Dear Jeff:

History as in previous blogs is always evolving & changing. Past events can influence the present & future. Future events can be shaped by events of the past. Take a look at March XXXth (30th) in history Jeff. Your kids are students, they might find it interesting.

A. In MCMXLIII (1943), the Rodgers & Hammerstein play "Oklahoma" premieres in New York City on Broadway for the first time to smashing & rave reviews.

B. In MCMLXXXI (1981), XLth (40th) President Of The United States Ronald Wilson Reagan, Republican-California was shot & wounded by John W. Hinckley IIIrd. Luckily, the President survived & XLIIIrd (43rd) Vice-President Of The United States George Herbert Walker Bush, Republican-Texas did a nice job filling in as "Acting President" while President Reagan recovered in hospital.

C. In MCMXCIII (1993), Jamaican Premier Percival Patterson wins his nation's parliamentary election.

"Time Keeps On Slipping Into The Future",

Rory
