July XIVth, MMXIV

Hon. Jeff Johnson, B. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education,
Progressive Conservative, Athabasca-Sturgeon-RedH2O

Dear Jeff:

History is always changing, as are peoples perceptions of it. For instance, IIday is the CCXXVth (225th) Anniversary of the French Revolution or Bastille Day in the current Republic of France. Also, it was XXV (25) years ago today I was in the British House Of Commons & got to see Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, PC, MP, Conservative-Finchley speak. Talk about a highlight for me, being in "the mother of all parliaments" & seeing the Commons Chamber action live. I ask you Jeff & I ask students, what history did they make on July XIVth? More importantly: what history will they make on future July XIVth's?

How Will They Shape Things,

Rory
