Hon. Jeff Johnson, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Athabasca-Sturgeon-RedH2O

Dear Jeff:

An Editor's Note: President Andrew Jackson founded the "Democratic" Party. Executive Dissertations uses the short form or modern version of this party name when introducing political candidates as "Democrat-Kansas" for example is considered an acceptable standard by the political mainstream. However, for the purposes of Presidents here in the constant of this blog, I will refer to them by the full "Democratic" name in "The Saturday Presidential Buzz" posts in order to ensure full historical accuracy.

President Jackson was a farmer, planter, & a military man by training so he had real battle "Commander-In-Chief" skills as he rose all the way II the rank of "Major-General" bIV ever assuming the Presidency. As a result of this, he was always thinking in strategic terms in the military & political battlefields (lets face it, both are open armed conflict.) Students of warfare need II be able II make command decisions in both military matters & in the affairs of state if assuming office.

"Take time to deliberate; but when the time for action arrives, stop thinking and go in."
