November XIIth, MMXIV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA-Elect
Minister of Education,
Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

Frustrated at being muzzled & overcontrolled by his leader at the time, a Thomas Mulcair, MP: Bruce Hyer, MP who had been elected as a New Democratic, & then sat as an Independent tells student reporters on why he crossed over to join the Green Party. Bruce is from the left & just couldn't move to the Liberals, so he made the best play possible for him. The play that would allow him to best represent his constituents.

"I joined the Jack Layton party. It's not the Jack Layton party anymore."

Number CXLVII (147),

Rory
