The Assemblymen-Joe Anglin, MLA

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

January XVIIth, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

Most of the time in party politics you have to follow party loyalties. However, just as Brent Rathgeber, MP, Independent, Edmonton-St. Albert quit on principle, Joe Anglin, MLA tells students why he did the same thing as he was frustrated at the craziness of Wildrose administrative staffers in trying  to seize too much power from democratically elected MLAs. Turns out Joe did the right thing as Danielle Smith, MLA, Wildrose/Progressive Conservative, Highwood folded her tent as Leader of her party & of Her Majesty's Loyal Official Opposition a few weeks later to join your caucus. Joe as an ex Alberta Green Party Leader sure is a smart man & a straight shooter!

"I speak my mind. I bring different experiences & a different point of view to the caucus than my colleagues."

Alta. Legislative Assembly Four,

Rory
