The Parliamentarians-Francois Pilon, MP

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

January XIIIth, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

Francois Pilon, MP wants us to see that he is hard at work in Presenting Petitions to protect park space. This topic has been raised by others MPs here at Executive Dissertations & in other places. If we keep building over everything, we will lose any open spaces & parkland we have. This extra crunch of development will force future generations to suffer as their environment will be polluted & more toxic, thus less conducive to raising young families of their own.

"Mr. Speaker, I want to present a petition regarding Gatineau Park. The petitioners are calling on the House of Commons to adopt legislation giving Gatineau Park the necessary legal protection to ensure its preservation for future generations."

Number CCXXX (230),

Rory
