Dear Gordon:

In his capacity as both a Member & Defense Minister, its hard for the Hon. Rob Nicholson, PC, MP to have to send troops off to war. Many of these troops are young people who are needed to fight terrorist threats. Nevertheless, the Minister must thank them in order to build confidence in missions, it is only proper.

"As we deploy Canadian aircraft in support of the fight against ISIL, all Canadians should be proud of our men & women in uniform, who are dedicated to providing safety & security whenever they are called upon."
