Dear Gordon:

The Hon. Stephen Mandel, MLA has actually turned inII one firecracker of a great Health Minister! I didn't expect this as I thought he was a weak, overtax & spend Mayor who added billions to Edmonton's debt, but to be fair he did help Edmonton gain the prestige of getting many areas of the city revitalized. At the same time, Steve (as he said i could call him) has actually really been working hard to deal with health initiatives, especially hard now with all the oil revenue decimated. On getting started, Steve shows he is willing to adjust to fit the times & needs of Albertans health.

"We'll do that, & people will have to evaluate what we've done, & we'll go from there."

P.S.: Giving (pissing) away 600 million plus dollars to a multi-billionaire for a new arena might not have been the wisest move as it would have given us a lot more ready cash for health needs. The cupboard is bare Steve!
