The Parliamentarians-Bob Zimmer, MP

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., Lois Hole Public Library Terminal #XX, Edmonton, Alberta

February XIIIth, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

An Editor's Note: While I appreciate the vim & vigour that Bob Zimmer, MP brings to his job, I find it incredibly rude that he didn't bring me a Tim Hortons Double Double as well.

A Secondary Editor's Note: This of course is the tentative "last" edition ever of "The Parliamentarians" series barring any byelections in the former ridings of former MPs Dean Del Mastro (whom I did profile) & Glenn Thibeault, (who resigned before I got to his quote.) If the Hon. John Baird, PC, MP &/or any other MP resigns triggering byelections bIV a general election writ is dropped in September for the IIIrd Monday in October, then I will have to do more editions due to the fact that this Parliament would not yet have been scrubbed in favour of the CCCXXXVIII (338) seat inaugural version! As a result I may wind up with more MP quotes than the number of seats due to the fact that more than one MP sat for a particular riding(s) during this final CCCVIII (308) seat Parliament!

Bobby talks about important the nuclear energy industry is to Canadians. Many may not like nuclear power, but it is an alternative energy source & important economic generator of jobs that keeps families employed.

"I would like to state again how important the nuclear industry is to Canada. It supports 17,000 jobs for Canadians & their families. We support the industry & want to make sure that is environmentally sound but also competitive."

Number CCCVI (306),

Rory
