March XIVth, MMXV
Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow
Dear Gordon:
So let me get this right. Also, I would like to thank CBC TV Edmonton News Reporter John Archer, a man of esteemed quality & integrity in my opinion! He, Candidate Steve Benson & Candidate Tom Choucair seem to be the only honest personages in this entire matter.
I. Patty Matsuka during office hours of the Premier's Office is calling reporters over PC nomination races? Can you say "should be fired?" (allegedly!)
I2. Candidate Choucair, former PC Candidate in Yeg-Meadowlark breaks no laws and yet is is pressured then kicked out as a candidate? Can you say, "nomination rigging?" (allegedly!)
I3. Candidate Choucair is out as a candidate & Candidate Benson the IIIrd Yeg-Meadowlark candidate (IInd to PC Executives) files an affidavit to say that he had offers to have all of his campaign expenses covered. Can you say "it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that PC Candidate Katherine O'Neill was the campaign that team making the offer? Especially as Kimmy Krushell & Patty were involved (on taxpayers time it turns out!)" (allegedly!)
I4. Candidate Janice Sarich was about to lose to Candidate Don Martin, how can PC Alberta "decide" or "rig" the choice so Yeg-Decore voters don't get a chance to mark their ballots? (allegedly!) If Candidate Martin was the person able to come up with the most votes, then he, not Candidate Sarich should be the PC candidate.
I5. Candidate Naresh Bhardwaj is under investigation for vote rigging & offering bribes (allegedly) &/or incentives (allegedly) in terms of cash monies to his opponent to drop out. Can you say "nomination rigging?" (allegedly!)
I6. The degree of incompetence & idiocy with PC Alberta is staggering Gordie! Leader Prentice needs to be reminded that while legitimate he did indeed get less votes to win his position than former Acting Alberta Liberal Party Leader Raj Sherman, MLA, the retiring Liberal MLA for Edmonton-Meadowlark.
I7. If Leader Prentice had any form of class he would order reruns of the party votes in Edmonton-Decore, Edmonton-Ellerslie, & most certainly Edmonton-Meadowlark & any other ridings in dispute. Plus, PC Alberta should pay 100% of all expenses for the disallowed candidates as what the party apparatchuk is doing is clearly discrimination against both Mr. Choucair (who was endorsed by Health Minister & MLA Steve Mandel bIV he moved over to the Premier's preferred candidate, Mrs. O'Neill.)
I8. Democracy must not fail except in PC Alberta where in these three Edmonton based ridings it has. For full disclosure I live in Edmonton-Glenora for the record and so have no bias or favourite in terms of any candidate(s) in any of the three ridings.
I9. Leader Prentice should also note that Candidates O'Neill, Sarich, & Bhardwaj will now be seen as illegitimate, thus hampering his efforts at ethical transparency greatly. Might I also point out that with Candidate Bhardwaj resigning from Her Majesty's Government as a Crown Minister, it looks like a matter of even greater impropriety & dishonesty! (allegedly!)
I10. A party taken over by ex-Alberta Hospital Party tax & spend personages such as Candidate Christine Labossiere in Yeg-Rutherford. A party that brought us the wonder that is Alison Redford & then elects her ex-boss as her replacement's replacement! Then calls it a "whole new party." This party has been hijacked, ransacked, & clearly doesn't speak with one voice! Just awful!
Zealots,
Rory

An Editor's Note: Kimmy Krushell can be forgiven for being a little "flighty" on this matter, after all she is Californian by birth & then Mayor (now Health Minister) Mandel got her to betray the residents of her north side ward in order to tear down the very valuable needed City Centre Airport by promising her two full packs of gum (so she didn't sell out: take note Naresh Bhardwaj (allegedly!)
What an outfit.
