Gubernatorial-Minnesota

Hon. Dave Eggen B. Ed., MLA-Elect, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

The State of Minnesota & its Governor Mark Dayton are hard at work in trying to tell Minnesotans to be vigilant in the fight against influenza. This disorder can kill anyone, but children, seniors, & those with respiratory problems can be particularly affected. What with all the talk by Alberta Health Services & governing officials about getting flu shots, its important to consider heeding these warnings for Alberta students & others who might be sensitive to getting a cold. For example: the sick, the elderly, the infirm etc.

"I urge Minnesotans to be vigilant, & take all necessary precautions to protect themselves, their children, & their loved ones from the threat of influenza. We are taking this threat very seriously, & will continue doing everything possible to prevent the further spread of this illness in our classrooms & our communities."

Saint Paul,

Rory
