The Saturday Presidential Buzz-George Walker Bush

Rory Joe Koopmans, B. Admin., Independent Candidate, Edmonton-Centre

May IInd, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative Candidate, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

Not since VIth President John Q. Adams, Democratic-Republican, Massachusetts succeeded his dad, IInd President John Adams, Federalist-Massachusetts as President had the Chief Executive's job had both a father & son elected to the post. Unlike both Presidents Adams & his father, XLIst President George H. Bush, Republican-Texas, President George W. Bush managed to get elected to II terms of office in MM (2000) & MMIV (2004.) Wanting to work across the aisle with the late & very respected Senator Edward (Teddy) M. Kennedy, Democratic-Massachusetts (just like the Adams boys) on education, the President wanted the Senator's help on the "No Child Left Behind Act." With a Masters In Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School (yes I know, in Massachusetts (just like the Adams boys), I'm sensing a theme here readers of Executive Dissertations, aren't you) the President felt the need to work with all parties to get resources & monies to classrooms directly so more school kids would get a proper start on their educational journey, particularly those who were wanted help in science & math. I propose to do the same as the MLA for Edmonton-Centre, to make sure provincial educational laws for curriculum ensure we have the best learning materials possible for the subject areas under study.

"I propose to train 70,000 high school teachers to lead Advanced Placement courses in math & science, bring 30,000 math & science professionals to teach & give early help to students who struggle with math."

January XXth, MMI (2001)-January XXth, MMIX (2009),

Rory

An Editor's Note: Former Major League Baseball (MLB) Texas Rangers Owner George Walker Texas Ranger doesn't get enough credit for his reach out to the LGBTQ community. In an unprecedented move, he had a gay man on his staff as an event planner who worked wonders with The White House social calendar. A remarkable factoid from a supposed extremist conservative Republican.
