In honour of the sad news that "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" will not be back this fall on CBS Television, we have a quote from Joe Friday on the crime scene process. CSI, which was based in Las Vegas, Nevada & was a great tool for promoting not just proper police work, but getting people excited about forensic science & using it as a tool to prove either absolute guilt or absolute innocence.

Establishing a proper witness identification or "i.d." on the body of a dead female student is now of the highest priority of the Los Angeles Police Department & Detective Joe Friday. Joe gets his fellow officers to assist in this matter when he finds a picture of the victim with a young male (presumably a boyfriend) at the crime scene.
