"Will The Senator Yield The Floor?"-Bernie Sanders

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

May XXVth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA-Elect, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Just as I ran Independent status in last month's provincial election, we have the Independent Senator Bernie Sanders of The Freedom & Unity State of Vermont. Don't let Bernie's run for the Democratic nomination for President Of The United States Of America fool you or anyone. Bernie is running under an established party banner b/c he is ticked off at the Democratic establishment & candidates such as Former U.S. Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton, Democratic-New York for not keeping their word & getting quality liberal progressive minded legislation passed. He remains fiercely independent in nature. Bernie wants collegiate & trade school to be free for students who cannot afford to go to school. How he asks can they reach their potential & become "independent" thinking adults & members of society will they ever be able to contribute to making the lives of the citizens of Vermont & America better?

"If our economy is to be strong, we need the best educated work force in the world. That will not happen if every year hundreds of thousands of bright young people cannot afford to go to college & if millions more leave school deeply in debt."

"Moonlight In Vermont",

Rory

  1. I sure the new minister would concur with the sentiments expressed in that quote.
