"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mr. Garamendi

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

December IXth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Over in Committee, we have Congressman John Garamendi of California addressing the problem of rising costs of transportation issues & how it was great how members of his House Transportation & Infrastruction Committee put aside their differences to get a bill passed so that construction & start up costs will be much lower for taxpayers. Something that people like Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson, B. A. & Edmonton City Council, as well as the Hon. Brian Mason, MLA, New Democratic, Minister of Infrastructure & Transportation & Leader of the Government in the House, New Democratic, Edmonton-Highlands-Norwood, & the Hon. Amarjeet Sohi, PC, MP, Minister of & Infrastructure & Communities, Liberal, Edmonton-Millwoods desperately need to fix. The out of cost tax increases & the lack of any return or value on them in terms of transport issues (the LRT & the loser executives at Edmonton Transit who run it Edmonton for example) is ridiculous & a terrible inconvenience & stress on working families. Its like the council here in Edmonton is tone deaf & just doesn't care.

"This bipartisan, commonsense transportation plan is long overdue."

Camp Blanding, Florida,

Rory
