Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

It was all part of the plan that my late mother, Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed. & her dad Archie would constantly collect every issue they could of the Classic Illustrated Comics. So it was smart of mom to bring them into her Grade II Classroom at Afton Elementary School & other student & teacher settings. Reading the comic version would in mom's mind encourage kids to read these great stories in novel format when they got older. Time for a Christmas Day plan ma!
