"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mr. Hoyer

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

January XIth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Just as Steve Scalise is the Republican House Of Representatives Majority Whip, we have Congressman Steny Hoyer of Maryland, a Democratic member who serves in the same capacity but as the Minority Whip. In the process of exactly = time to all sides, Executive Dissertations asks Steny to explain the job of the Whip to Maryland political science students. That of course is to get members of his party in Congress to vote, usually in a certain way on any matter. Better to have all members voting than lose by say just a single vote!

"I am informed that every member of Congress who is in town has voted."

New York City, New York,

Rory
