Gubernatorial-Louisiana Redux

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

March XIIIth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

In this Presidential Election Cycle, we cannot at Executive Dissertations forget to remember that during the life of this CIVth (114th) Congress, we had several off year election races for Governor & other offices last year. So we had new Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards sworn into office this past January. We ask John, the only Democratic Party Gubernatorial office holder in the deep south to explain his educational points on ballooning deficits, a problem here in Alberta & jurisdictions worldwide. These can affect things like student athletic programs, even at quality schools like Louisiana State University (LSU) which has a world renowned football program.

"Student athletics across the state would be ineligible to play next semester. I don't say this to scare you. But I am going to be honest with you."

Donna,

Rory

An Editor's Note: We must the use John's enchanting wife Donna, the new First Lady & the State Bird as labels due to the fact the State Flower & Capitol were used up under Former Governor Bobby Jindal, Republican.
