On the trail of student involvement in Committee in fighting diabetes is Congressman Tom Reed of New York. Diabetes which affects young & old, my awesome late mother Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed. having died of a stroke, her diabetes was also a contributing factor to her death so I appreciate Tom'a work here. Tom is Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus on this matter & is a great choice as he is avid swimmer.
