Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Somehow it seems rather fitting that Former Stampeders & Eskimos legend & Lt. Governor of Alberta Normie "The China Clipper" Kwong died on the very weekend that the two CFL teams have the first of their two clashes. Sad though that he never got to "be in the game" one more time & attend Monday's match at McMahon Stadium. Executive Dissertations said goodbye to Normie & thanked him for his service when he retired some six & a half years ago on Tuesday, May XIth, MMX (11th, 2010.) I strongly encourage Alberta students to read that post & respect that Normie was an even bigger football legend than the sainted Jackie Parker or even Premier Don Getty. A true success story as the Calgary born son of Chinese immigrants, Normie Kwong proves that multiculturalism works & that we need people from all backgrounds to make The Dominion Of Canada & The Province Of Alberta stronger!

A Strong Warrior On The Football & Political Fields Of Battle,

Rory
