I. MDCXX (1620): The English language newspaper "Namloos" begins publishing in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Europe.

II. MDCCLXXVII (1777): British General Howe is plotting an attack on General Washington's Army, set for December IVth.

III. MDCCCIV (1804): Napoleon Bonaparte is crowned Emperor of France in Paris, in fact: he crowns himself.

IV. MCMXXVII (1927): The first Model A car is sold for $385.00 by the Ford Motor Company Limited of Dearborn, Michigan, The United States Of America.

V. MMI (2001): Enron files in the Southern District of New York for Chapter XI (11) bankruptcy.
