I sure as hell hope that your caucus colleague the Hon. Marlin Schmidt, B. Sc., M. Sc., MLA, Minister of Advance Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Gold Bar does everything in his power to save Athabasca U. I have my Bachelor of Administration (Management Concentration) December MCMXCIX (1999) from there. As a result, I & many others (including the sainted late Premier Ralph Klein, Progressive Conservative) who graduated from there would truly be sorry to see it go.
