You May Conduct The Commander To History

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

June XXVIIth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

History comes alive at any point, just pick a day, any day. With this being the day in MCMLXXIII (1973) that Sir Roger Moore first headlined as Her Majesty's Royal Navy Commander & Secret Agent Licensed To Kill for Her Majesty's Secret Service James Bond in "Live & Let Die." Especially poignant now that he has departed this life after a valiant struggle with cancer & had his funeral. Always pay attention to someone who commands respect, such as this great actor & UNICEF children's ambassador who was always at the top of his game!

In MCML (1950), North Korean troops reached Seoul, the South Korean capital & then U.S. President Harry S. Truman, Democratic-Missouri had to send in Air Force/Navy reinforcements. Sounds like the same game of brinkmanship that current U.S. President Donald J. Trump, Republican-New York is facing today over North Korea & their rather hostile missile tests, & they say history doesn't "repeat" itself.

The "Etten-Lur", the first airplane flight in The Netherlands takes place in MCMIX (1909) by Belgium Count De Lambert.

A "Commander"ing Screen Presence Was The Rather "Saint"ed Mister Moore,

Rory
