Dear Dave:

Folks celebrating Christmas & other holidays should remember not to open windows in winter, especially when it gets extra cold. This can cause students & their families water pipes to potentially freeze &/or perhaps burst, thus leaving them with no potable water source during the holiday season until repairs which can be expensive) can be affected.
