Historic Edmonton Week

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., Clareview Public Library Terminal #VIII, Edmonton, Alberta

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I am in Northeast Edmonton today s the Edmonton & District Historical Society wraps up another Historic Edmonton Week, students need to look at how the farming communities to the northeast played a big part in Edmonton's growth & development. Also, how Edmonton helped served as a feeder community for the development, trade, & commercial ability for many farmers & businesses to go about their trade & conduct commerce (thus supporting their families.) Many tradespeople worked out of the ne (& other areas of the city) & their contributions in the past are now still influencing how we shape Edmonton & its surrounding area for the future.

Students Should Drop By Queen Alexandra School To Learn More,

Rory
