The Bob Hope Mission

October XIth, MMXXI

Hon. Adriana LaGrange, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Red Deer-North

Dear Adriana:

In outgoing Edmonton City Mayor Donny Iveson's "campaign" against homelessness, perhaps he could could coordinate with his council mates, City administration, & the incoming City Council. He could act as sort of a "roving ambassador" on the issue for a $1.00 a year so he would be truly free to exercise his passion & foresight in this matter.

The idea makes sense because with Emmanuel Foundation lost by fire & Edmonton Emergency Relief Services Society (EERSS) lost by the eviction notice of Jason Kenney, your "dear leader" & Premier, it would make for a great pairing if a spot could be found to combine these two organizations. As well, it would save them each 50% of their start up costs & get them "refueled, resupplied, & rolling like a juggernaut" once again to serve both Edmontonians & those abroad they also assist much faster. Giving EERSS a new home makes sense as they gave people homes & hope in the MCMLXXXVI (1987) Tornado (managed by that great man then Mayor Larry Decore, sadly the best Premier we never had) & other disasters.

Either a City owned property or a private space that's not being used would be great. Maybe working in tandem with The Hope Mission which also lost supplies/donations in the Emmanuel Foundation fire, since Hopers have their own new place going.

Tandem Efforts,

Rory
