Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

October XIIth, MMXXI

Hon. Adriana LaGrange, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Red Deer-North

Dear Adriana:

Of course there are also school board elections across Alberta vin tandem with mayoral/reeve/council races. There are new faces & of course those seeking reelection. So today's all new Executive Dissertations asks outgoing Ward E Edmonton Public School Board Trustee Ken Gibson for a few words of wisdom & what the main goal of being a school trustee is. I believe this is Ken's IInd farewell as a Trustee for the interest sake of political science students.

"The main role of a Public School Trustee is to be the visible champion for education."

Marshaling Resources,

Rory

An Editor's Note: I went to Laurier Heights Elementary School for Kindergarten with Justin Sather, son of the great hockey Coach & Executive Glen Sather. My parents, the awesome carpenter Mr. Joe K. Koopmans & the greatest teacher of them all, the late & highly respected Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed. carpooled with the Sathers. That would be MCMLXXIX-MCMLXXX (1979-80.) Also, mom taught at the Afton Elementary School & also at Rio Terrace Elementary School, both in Ward E.
