Executive Dissertations concludes its "all XXXI (thirty-one) days in May electoral posts" by pointing out in this "Post Writ" period there is much to do. Both His Majesty's United Conservative Government & His Majesty's New Democratic Loyal Official Opposition have to get their cabinet & shadow cabinets together. Farewells must be made to departing & defeated MLAs & MLA-Elects. As well as preparing new & returning MLA-Elects for the news session. Elections Alberta must get the results ready to be made "official" on June VIIIth, MMXXIII.  And all MLA-Elects must coordinate help for the wildfires which are still in abundance this season.

It Never Truly Ends & The Business Of Government Must Be Kept In Motion At All Times,

Congrats on winning yourself another term as MLA (MLA-Elect till you are sworn in.) An interesting perspective all around as Hon. Danielle Smith, ECA, MLA-Elect, Premier & President Of The Executive Council, United Conservative, Brooks-Medicine Hat pushed back at the naysayers & won a majority, albeit reduced. Hon. Rachel Notley, ECA, MLA-Elect, Leader Of His Majesty's Loyal Official Opposition, New Democratic, Edmonton-Strathcona won a whole bunch of extra seats so it lets her stay accountable & give her a firmer hand in having Premier Smith stay so as well!

Furthermore, lets have all Albertans named "Chad" be able to vote like any other citizen. Let us also hope that each vote is counted, whether valid, spoiled, rejected, or declined.

A reminder from Myself & Elections Alberta. The Advance Poll voting may be done as of yesterday, but Special Ballots are still being offered until High Noon Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) today & regular hours tomorrow at all LXXXVII (87) Returning Offices. These being the ballots where you handprint out the name of the candidate of your choice rather than making a mark such as an "X" on a Paper Ballot or filling in a circle completely dark on a scanned Advance Poll Ballot.

I don't know why residents here would want Andrew Lineker, Independent Candidate, Edmonton-McClung as their next MLA! This glory hole seeker walked out of an Edmonton Mayoral Debate at Eastglen High School in a spaz over something completely unjustifiable & falsely accused fellow mayoral candidates of stealing his ideas & then quit that race. To this day he never said sorry to citizens. What makes folks think that if he wouldn't finish a term as Mayor that he wouldn't up & quit as the MLA & thus force a byelection? Haha, hell the only thing worse than having Andy as an MLA would be me holding a seat in the Alberta Legislature!

I will of course be casting my Advance Poll ballot tomorrow on Saturday, May XXVIIth, MMXXIII at the Telus World Of Science Edmonton. This is fun as I've never voted on a Saturday before & it is my favourite day of the week! This is actually my proper Advance Poll location for Edmonton-Glenora. I know I can vote at any location in Alberta & have my ballot sent to my correct Returning Office, but my RO is across the street so this makes sense for me & I've got some appointments on Monday, May XXIXth, MMXXIII Election Day, though I will still put out an all new blog post that day too. I will also visit "The Art Of The Brick" Lego display eventually as students interested in democracy & science should go see it to. Perhaps combining seeing their parents vote or voting for the Ist time themselves. Its a great idea because both events are all in the same building!
