The Hon. Joe Oliver, PC, MP as Finance Minister has some heavy shoes to fill in taking over for the late Hon. Jim Flaherty, PC, Conservative, Whitby-Oshawa in order to keep the financial situation of Canada on the straight & narrow. The less Her Majesty's Government has to borrow, the less students will have to pay for instance in terms of student loans.
