Dear Dave:

Hearing from seniors over coffee this morning, I can only think to say that the art of "political survival" is like going to a dentist's office. There are a lot of pokes, prodding, cracks, bleeding, fillings with bondo, & pain along the way. In fact, some people might have more dental problems needing repair than the roads & sidewalks with cracks & potholes that are daily wrecking my car from a lack of repair down here on the trail. Ah hell, who am I kidding Dave, even going to a dentist is less painful then going over these road bumps. Of course, if I keep on driving over them, I'll be needing to go to the dentist a lot more when this campaign ends in XXI days from now!
