"Will The Senator Yield The Floor?"-Ted Cruz

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

July XXXIst, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Presidential Contender for the Republican nod Senator Ted Cruz of The Friendship State of Texas is right to be sickened by all of the child sex trafficking for children coming over America's borders. With Texas being a southern border state he hears about it constantly.

"We are asking the Department of Health & Human Services for important information about its actions & obligations, & we owe it to these children to get answers."

Tejas,

Rory

Source: Senator Ted Cruz, Class 1, Republican-Texas.

An Editor's Note: Teddy was born in a Calgary, Alberta hospital which makes him the IInd Canadian citizen to possibly become U.S. President after President Chester Alan Arthur, Republican-New York (Quebec.) He would be the IIIrd foreign citizen to hold the office when you include President Barack Obama, Democratic-Illinois (Kenya.) Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican-California (Austria) the former Governor must be beside himself with anger that he is excluded while Teddy found a constitutional loop hole to let him in!

July XXXth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

In addition to holding the Office of The First Gentleman, Captain Michael Haley, Republican-South Carolina is the husband of Governor Nikki Haley. The Captain serves honourably in the South Carolina Army National Guard. What with all this talk that Former XLIInd President Bill Clinton, Democratic-Arkansas might become the first First Gentleman Of The United States Of America if his wife, Former Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton, Democratic-New York is elected the next President, I feel its important to show that Nikki is like anyone else. The Governor is happy that her husband is back from his military service & his good wife, in addition to be the Chief Executive for the State, has to hold her family together with her spouse gone like any other regular South Carolinian (or any) family. Things like kids going to school, still having contact with their dad, etc. It also showcases that there are both male & female spouses of politicians who make significant sacrifices for their family so that their loved ones can hold political office. The Governor elaborates.

"Seeing him, I took my first breath in a year. When you know you could lose a loved one & to think of that every day, it reminds you to be truly thankful for what you have, & it really helps you understand that a lot of small things don't matter."

Columbia,

Rory

Dear Dave:

Dear Dave:

Governor Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island chats up her thought process on the theme of an affordable education for all Rhode Islanders as they go onto post-secondary or trades studies. This is a theme we have seen a lot here at Executive Dissertations by politicos of all stripes.

"Will The Senator Yield The Floor?"-Marco Rubio

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

July XXVIIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave, Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

The Peninsular State of Florida has Senator Marco Rubio (a candidate for the Republican nomination to run for the Presidency Of The United States Of America & be the XLVth (45th) Chief Executive) working on establishing legal immigration reforms so that hard working immigrants who come to his state & to America can have a chance to establish themselves. Florida having a huge latin populace from Cuba & other nations is a prime example of where fair immigration standards are needed so that families who want to bring up their kids right in their new nation can. What with fellow candidate & real estate mogul Donald Trump, Republican-New York making remarks on immigration that were controversial (while very true) on Mexican illegal immigration & the high levels of drug & related crimes to it, the quote is quite appropriate. An Editor's Note: One of the latino personages from Mexico with a criminal record in her past is Mrs. Columba Bush, wife of former Florida Governor & current candidate for the Republican nod himself, Jeb Bush. She tried to smuggle in consumer goods without declaring properly the taxes & duties on them.

"I support this reform. Not just because I believe in immigrants, but because I believe in America even more."

Dear Dave:

Just having had the keys to the Governor's Mansion handed to him upon being sworn in this past January, Governor Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania is trying to prove he is no "wolf in sheep's clothing." Tom is particularly interested in the topic area of stabilized school funding to give kids a better chance at having the resources they need. Sounds like Tommy is "hungry like the wolf" to get the job done!

"It's just this simple: our state is never going to get stronger as long as we make our schools weaker."

Dear Dave:

Off to The Sunshine State of Florida & Senator Bill Nelson. Bill wants you to know about his thinking on the topic area of world peace & having respect for humanity & having families from around the world teach their children to work to respect each other. By doing this, Billy is hoping they can work out their differences. He has a unique "Earthly" respected as he was a NASA trained astronaut & was in outer space orbiting the planet some XXIX (29) years ago so he knows what he is talking about.

Dear Dave:

Premier Brian Gallant of the province of New Brunswick talks to the citizens of his province on the need to improve literacy levels in citizens of all ages so as to improve their economy with a comprehensive literacy strategy. I'd say this is rather "gallant" of him.

"In order to grow the economy, we need to improve literacy skills to develop a qualified workforce. There is an urgent need to invest in our people through literacy programs. By addressing these issues now, we will have a stronger New Brunswick for children & our communities."

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Having just been sworn into office upon the resignation of her predecessor, Governor Kate Brown of Oregon is a great friend to the LGBTQ community in terms of establishing equality for residents of all orientations in her state as she is openly bisexual. Katie takes a look at the issue of capital punishment for inmates. While we no longer have it here in Canada, it is a very contentious issue in the United States, both in death penalty & non death penalty states, as well as world nations. It is studied by legal students in many law classes just as it is in the courts. How do you balance restorative rights of prisoners with the rights of the victims & such & how do you make the system of justice fair for all Oregonians?

"Their needs to be a broader discussion about fixing the system."

July XXIInd, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Bipartisanship is supposed to be a hallmark of being a legislator & newly minted Senator Gary Peters of The Winter Water Wonderland State of Michigan is trying that here by pledging to work with elected representatives of both parties to get proper benefits to America's armed forces veterans & their dependents such as spouses & children. Considering how badly successive Canadian governments (both Liberal & Conservative) have treated Canada's service personnel, the issue is quite relevant.

"I'm committed to working with my colleagues in the Senate from both parties to ensure America is keeping the promises we've made to our service members, veterans & their families."

Don't Get "Cross" With Me Lochlin!

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin.
#6, 14504-108 Avenue
Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

July XXIst, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education,
New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Radio & media broadcast students take note of the excellent work being done by the new pairing of the very lovely & talented Nicola Crosbie, ex chief weather gal on Global News Edmonton & the even more lovely & talented Lochlin Cross. The two of them really have their game down in only two months on the air at 95.7 CRUZ FM on your radio. A "cross"-pattern overlay of broadcast talent to be sure, I have great respect for Lochlin as he has a wealth of experience in the field & would be a great mentor to up & coming media students. Especially in giving them confidence to write script/copy & appear on the air! Look at Loughlin's great history!

I. Its no "cross" for Lochlin to bear as he graduated in broadcasting from the British Columbia Institute Of Technology (BCIT.)

II. Lochlin can "cross" over from one format to another quite easily. After working both in British Columbia & Alberta, Lochlin stepped & worked at 100.3 The Bear FM doing hard rock & roll. His ability to adapt shows because he has now switched over to pop music & lighter rock hits while also providing excellent banter with his new co-host Nicola. This is quite an accomplishment as they are still getting to know one another & find their footing with the new show. Lets hope they don't get "cross" with one another & "cross" over one another's paths. This would cause significant injury.

III. "Cross" your heart with hope as Lochlin does great work for superb charities such as the Sign of Hope, Stollery Childrens Hospital, United Way, & Christmas Bureau, as well as many other fine charities. By being so involved, he is lending his radio "voice" & media talent & experience to guarantee these fine groups gets the funds & resources they need to continue helping the sick & less fortunate in our community!

Dear Dave:

Oklahoma is indeed "O.K." under the watch of its first ever female Governor Mary Fallin. While "the wind comes sweepin down the plain", Mary talks about wind technology & harnessing it to take advantage of her state's heavy winds & show Oklahoma students that her administration is into environmental sustainability for the state power grid. Wind power is big in The Netherlands where my father & his family immigrated to Canada from, as a result I am very interested in wind tech. Even television's J.R. Ewing (actor Larry Hagman) who played an evil oil magnate on "DALLAS" was big on solar & wind energy resources in his later years!

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

The Wolverine State of Michigan & its Senator Debbie Stabenow orate on keeping The Great Lakes sustainable for not just Michigan, but for folks in general as they are a huge freshwater supply & many families with children, heck people of all ages rely on them. Deb is a Co-Chair on a task force to keep these lakes environmentally sustainable & speaks at a university symposium on them. Keeping H2O is important, especially with the drought conditions Alberta farmers & their families have been facing this year.

"The Great Lakes are part of our Michigan way of life. And they sustain our entire continent, providing 84% of North America's surface freshwater. We depend on the Great Lakes for more than just drinking water: Thousands upon thousands of jobs are linked to the Great Lakes."

The Student Sayings Of Joe Friday On Fridays From Los Angeles, California Case One-Hundred & Four

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

July XVIIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Reassigned to a special detail by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office to aid in the drug investigation matter of the Bill Cosby case & possible California drug & rape charges is Sergeant Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department. I've asked Joe to "get back to basics" & explain drug addiction with youth in a "matter of fact" police way. As this is the last Case #CIV (#104) that Sgt. Friday will solve for Executive Dissertations at an "even Steven II (2) years", I thought it would be best to get him to give a quick comment on drug addiction & graduating from one level of drug to a more an even more addictive one & then another & so on. Thus leading to crimes like say rape, sexual assault, battery, murder, etc. The Suspect, Dr. Cosby has admitted in depositions to drugging women without their consent "in order to have sex with them." Many of his victims were quite young, some even possibly high school or post-secondary or trade school students & what "The Cos" has done is absolutely despicable!

You can tell Senator Tom Cotton of The Wonder State of Arkansas is excited. It seems Tom & his very lovely bride Anna are now first time parents of what Tom terms as "Baby Cotton." Its great to see this federal government representative excited about becoming a dad & being a husband!

Dear Dave:

Ohio & its Governor John Kasich seem to always be hooked on the importance of mentorship for students & kids in general. Positive adult role models will let these students become responsible adults themselves.

"The power of mentorship holds great promise to help us better connect our communities with our schools, & lift up our educators & our kids. We can show them why learning matters, we can teach them about workplace culture & professional etiquette. We can help them appreciate how important good character is to success in life as well as values like hard work, discipline & responsibility-all of which can help motivate & inspire them to find their purpose & reach for the stars."

Dear Dave:

Senator John Boozman of The Toothpick State of Arkansas is trying to make sure that rural families have properly functioning infrastructure so they can have good quality of life. Something that is lacking here in Edmonton with our extremely incompetent "add unlimited debt/don't fix the LRT or other problems" Mayor & City Council & the bureaucrats at say Edmonton Transit & at City Hall behind them.

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Sticking with the educational front, now that it has come out that actor/comedian William H. (Bill) Cosby, Ph. D. has admitted drugging multiple women in order to have sex with them with out their consent (translation: RAPE), the following wouldn't bother me at all:

I. That Dr. Cosby have his Doctoral degree from the University Of Massachusetts Amherst in Education revoked. The only educating he should be a part of is the skullbuggery & other things he will get if ever placed in a jail for any of his crimes. Then he'll know exactly what these poor women had to go through!

II. That Dr. Cosby lose every single Honourary Doctoral degree he has ever been given as I'm sure these fine post-secondary institutions are quite embarrassed by him:

a. University Of Pennsylvania. b. Swarthmore College. c. University Of Connecticut.
d. University Of Southern California. e. Colgate University. f. Amherst College.
g. Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute. h. University Of Cincinnati. i. Haverford College.
j. Drew University. k. West Chester University Of Pennsylvania. l. Sisseton Wahpeton College.
m. Yale University. n. Baylor University. o. Berklee College Of Music.
p. Carnegie Mellon University. q. Virginia Commonwealth University.

Wanting to be "blunt" & get right to the crux of the matter is Senator Roy Blunt of The Show-Me State of Missouri. July Xth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Part of crime scene analysis is looking at the facts of a scene, what has actually happened & what may happen before the case is solved before future crimes are committed & the perpetrators are caught or killed. This is what Detective Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department is doing as he is sent to investigate the robbery of a jewelry story in a richer & higher class area of Los Angeles where there is very little crime. When there is, perps are caught in quicker manner b/c the citizenry are even more on the lookout for crime than say a poorer area of the city that has less resources financially. The suspects in this case are thought to be troubled youth that skip school & hang out on the street looking for trouble & who had stolen goods from other shops in the area & now they have escalated to murder. While Det. Friday is appalled & the execution style slaying, even he has to admit that it was impressive how the killers got away so efficiently.

She also wants to point out how since its America's birth as a Republic today that she favors the "birth" of quality child care for residents of her state & throughout America (a social issue of great importance here in Alberta to.)

"Child care for working parents is essential to families throughout the nation, & Maine is no exception."

Rory

The Student Sayings Of Joe Friday On Fridays From Los Angeles, California Case One-Hundred & Two

July IIIrd, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

An Editor's Note: Wouldn't it be a great joint tribute if Brent Rathgeber, QC, MP, Independent, Edmonton-St. Albert ageed to amend his bill to call it the Wynn/Woodall Law instead of the Dave Wynne Law? In this way, both officers would be honoured & I'm quite sure that the widows Wynn & Woodall would be quite proud to have their late husbands monikers jointly in this important legislation that Brent drafted.

Today in a bid at humour & due to America's birth as a republic tomorrow, Executive Dissertations asks our Dan Aykroyd portrayed Sergeant Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department to refresh his new partner Pep Streebeck played by Double Academy Award (TM) Winner Tom Hanks & a group of young police cadets in training on the proper dress code while on duty in his department of Robbery-Homicide.

"I don't care what undercover rock you crawled out from, there's a dress code for detectives in Robbery-Homicide. Section 3-605. 10. 20. 22. 24. 26. 50. 70. 80. It specifies; clean shirt, short hair, tie, pressed trousers, sports jacket or suit, & leather shoes, preferably with a high shine on them."

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Who better than Brother Bobby to speak about flatlining, dying, & coming back, almost as if it were a dream?! Invited by the Greek Prime Minister to speak at The National & Kapodistrian University Of Athens on financial matters & the banking industry ahead of this Sunday's referendum vote, Texas oilman Robert James "Bobby" Ewing, Chairman, President, CEO, & co-owner of Ewing Global states his position on his frustration in dealing with bankers to a group of finance & enterprise students at their graduation ceremony. Thus proving that "its not all Greek" to him.

"It's like my daddy used to say. When a banker comes to do you a favor, check your wallet before he leaves!"

"Will The Senator Yield The Floor?"-Jeff Sessions

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

July Ist, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

The Senate is now in "session" with Senator Jeff Sessions of The Yellowhammer State of Alabama. The Senator reveal his thoughts on giving kids the best protection from child abuse possible by getting a bill renewed that protects kids from these abuses. This is excellent as it is work done in the same way through the Sexual Assault Crisis Centre & the ICE Unit of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police & other groups such as battered women, men & children shelters. What a great present our Alabaman friend is giving Canada on this Dominion Day by raising this issue on the floor of the United States Senate!

"We cannot & should not go back to a system that fails the most valuable children in our society. It is time to reauthorize The Victims of Child Abuse Act."

Heart Of Dixie,

Rory
