Hon. Demetrios Nicolaides, B. A., M. P. S., Ph. D., ECA, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Calgary-Bow
Dear Demetrios:
General Georgie Patton had it right in delivering fast-paced & strong results in "advances", with quicker efficiencies & therefore battlefield victories overall. Thus freeing up resources for further "advances." He is pointing out that letting the people decide things after a basic structure of what is required will yield surprising results. So in a democracy, voting at an Advance Poll, make sure that you treat the staff, volunteers, & other folks in the voting chamber with dignity & respect so that things go smoothly. Whether that be in a school, a mosque, temple, community hall, seniors centre, hospital poll, or say a church, such as St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church Edmonton. This is my assigned Advance Poll & I am voting on Saturday, April XIXth, MMXXV with my cousin & his daughter, a 1st time voter who are in the same poll & I want to encourage her in taking part in the democratic voting process! I strongly encourage folks to vote 9am-9pm MDT at these Advance Polls from Good Friday thru Easter Monday so they don't get stuck in lineups from last minute voters on Election Day.
Note: This was the Parish Church for 1 term Edmonton Catholic School Board Trustee & 1 Time Alberta Liberal Leadership Candidate Mister John Patrick Day. John sadly died at just 56, so I am pleased to vote at the church where we all said our dignified farewells at his funeral, a great political operative & charming raconteur! |
John Patrick Day,
Rory
